Accessibility Statement

The D1 Life Foundation is committed to making d1life.org usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology like screen readers, screen magnifiers, or keyboard-only navigation.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That includes things like labeled form fields with clear error messages, keyboard-operable navigation and menus, a “skip to main content” link on every page, and respecting your device’s reduced-motion setting for animated content.

Known limitations

Some content on this site is embedded from third-party services we don’t control the code of, including Givebutter donation/newsletter widgets and, on some pages, an embedded Facebook page. We choose vendors that make their own accessibility efforts, but can’t guarantee every embed meets the same standard we hold the rest of the site to.
